The Monalisa

Millions of Eyes
Some look at me
Some pass by
Some stay to Stare
Some see me through in hope;

Some find my beauty intriguing
Some write a book and
Some come to study and
Celebrate me and Da Vinci

I stare and see
and murmur to all
but in the mind they think
they see it all

Oh how I wish to speak
to those searching eyes
had you not with your brush
sealed my lips with a smile.

Good one! I feel amusing and do have more meaning... I can see your spirit of feminism - always love to break the boundaries! I felt that the diction can be bit more deeper. Compared to your poems in your diaries of 2003-2005, this poem shows your matured understanding of simplicity! :-)
